As both an artist and an A&R, singer McKenzie Eddy has been a key member of Dame Dash’s DD172 collective since its inception. Now, in a recent press release, it looks like Eddy is taking her music act on tour.

Eddy is embarking on her “Southern Stomp” tour through the southeastern United States beginning this September. She will be joined by a host of Blu Roc affiliates, including Kat C.H.R., Cranford and Sons, and Sean O’Connell.

In other news, it looks like “Rock the Vote” will be taking over Villanova University’s campus next week. Now, according to a recent press release, it looks like Asher Roth will be joining the youth voting movement on its tour.

“Rock the Vote” will stopping at a variety of locations across the country as a part of their “Road Trip” bus tour in attempt to raise awareness about the upcoming presidential election. In addition to a number of other activities, the political awareness group has enlisted the likes of Asher Roth, Vacationer, Dacav and J. Ivy to perform at events.

As previously mentioned, “Rock the Vote” will be heading to Villanova’s campus on  Tuesday September 18 from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Finally, famed online Hip Hop publication WHO?MAG has taken its multimedia base to the next level with a new television station. The multimedia company recently launch iFame TV, and has already lined a fair amount of Hip Hop-friendly content for viewers.

iFame TV will be aired exclusively through the Roku digital media device, and the station will show a number episodes of “Dance Party USA.” iFame will screen episodes featuring performances from seminal Hip Hop acts including Big Daddy Kane, Gang Starr, Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth and more.

iFame has also acquired the rights to air a rare lost performance from the late Tupac Shakur filmed for the show “One House Street.”
