Talib Kweli Announces “Prisoner Of Consciousness” Tour

    Talib Kweli has announced the dates for his upcoming “Prisoner of Consciousness” tour, which comes in anticipation of his impending solo LP of the same name, due this summer.

    For the trek, the Black Star member will set it off at Providence, Rhode Island on May 18th at Fete Music Ballroom. Stops on the tour include New York, New York, Cleveland, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The venture concludes at Indianapolis, Indiana’s The Vogue on June 3rd, after which he will team with Yasiin Bey as Black Star to perform at Bonnaroo on June 8th.

    Kweli’s upcoming album, Prisoner of Consciousness, is slated to feature guest appearances from RZA, Busta Rhymes, Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar, Melanie Fiona and more. The Oh No-produced single “Distractions” has already been released.

    2. Expecting a lot more from this album, Gutter Rainbows was garbage, still think Eardrum is his best, Quality is overrated.
