Released this week, March 8, Lupe Fiasco‘s third album, Lasers has been in the news for its own maker’s frustrations with Atlantic Records’ influence on the album. Still, the Chicago emcee may see the kind of success that his major label was seeking.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Lasers is projected to sell over 200,000 first week units. If that’s the case, Hits assumes that the 1st & 15th release will take the charts’ #1 spot next week.
HitsDailyDouble makes its sales projections off of the first 24 hours of an album’s sales.
