After announcing a short film companion to his Pusha T-assisted single “Runaway” , Chicago superstar Kanye West has finally arranged for its premiere. Announced this morning, “Runaway” will premiere on MTV and BET simulataneously on October 23, 2010 at 8pm EST. The airing will be just over a month to the day from when West’s fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy will release on November 22 from Def Jam Records.

Following the television airing, West will host a live question-and-answer session with MTV at the network’s New York headquarters. The video will subsequently be available on the MTV and Vh1 websites.

In the announcement, Def Jam Records confirmed appearances by RZA, Q-Tip, and Pete Rock on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, along with the inclusion of G.O.O.D Friday leak “Monster” , featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver.

The song was unveiled at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards last month. It was West’s first televised appearance with new G.O.O.D Music artist Pusha T, known as one-half of Virginia veteran Hip Hop duo The Clipse. That performance is below:
