Ice-T has played Detective Odafin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for over 20 years and will be for at least the next three seasons.
On Tuesday (June 2), Variety tweeted its story about a writer for a Law & Order spinoff show, Craig Gore, who was fired for saying in a Facebook post, “[I’ll] light motherfuckers up who are trying to fuck with my property.”
The show’s creator Dick Wolf said in a statement, “I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief. I am terminating Craig Gore immediately.”
The gangsta rap pioneer shared the tweet and applauded Wolf’s decision, writing, “Oh shit.. The Big Boss is cleaning house. RESPECT.”
Following Wolf’s decision, Gore has also been dropped by his agency, Paradigm.
In the controversial Facebook photo, Gore is wearing a mask over his face and posing with a large gun in an attempt to scare off anyone looting during the Los Angeles protests that took place on Monday (June 1).

He wrote, “Sunset is being looted two blocks from me. You think I won’t light motherfuckers up who are trying to fuck with my property I worked all my life for? Think again.”
Gore’s posts gained traction on social media after NBCUniversal Associate Producer Drew Janda brought attention to them.
Janda wrote, “Ayyy @Chris_Meloni your new showrunner is a proud boy.

You can tell someone is going make a great point when they start off with “you are stupid” before even making their weak argument.
