Ice Spice has been one of the biggest names in Hip Hop since her quick rise to the top, and she is now set to release her first full-length album.

On Tuesday (March 5), the Bronx native took to Instagram and shared two photographs of herself in pink platform heels and a jean skirt, holding a red lollipop.

In the post’s succinct caption, she wrote: “i finished recording y2k the album ^.^”

In addition to the flood of fan comments expressing their excitement over the news, the official accounts for both Instagram and Spotify also hopped under the replies to hype up the superstar’s upcoming debut.

No release date for the project has yet been announced.

Earlier this week, the 24-year-old shared advice she received from Taylor Swift and even said that she would remember the tip forever.

In an interview with Billboard that was published in early March, she revealed some wisdom her “Karma” collaborator shared with her.

The New York City native said: “When I was in the studio with Taylor, I’ll never forget that. She told me, ‘No matter what, just keep making music and everything’s going to be fine.’”

Ice also answered a question about what she’s looking for as she preps her debut album, noting that the first thing she needs is a good beat.

“First, a really hard beat. If the beat doesn’t instantly move me — like if I don’t physically feel the beat of the speakers — then I’m just going to keep moving on to the next one,” she said. “But as soon as I know, I know I have that beat. It’s up from there.”

The “Deli” MC also spoke about her relationship with Nicki Minaj when asked about her favorite tracks from 2023.

“‘Princess Diana’ with Nicki [Minaj] because I felt like ‘Princess Diana’ was already my best song on [Like…?], but then it didn’t chart or anything until Nicki got on it,” she revealed. “I was just so happy to have both of those worlds where I felt like it was culturally a great song, but also it charted. And then I had my dream collab fulfilled at the same time.”
