Hit-Boy is well aware of the noise Kanye West is currently making on Twitter.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the celebrated producer called out the G.O.O.D. Music founder for refusing to work with him again after he found out he’d produced some material for Beyoncé. (Ye has been in a cold war with the superstar singer’s husband JAY-Z for the past few years.)
On Wednesday (September 16), Hit-Boy shared a screenshot of Ye’s tweet about Universal Music Group and Sony and how the music industry are “modern day slave ships.” But despite their personal differences, the 33-year-old beat magician sided with Ye.
“I haven’t been a fan of Kanye on a personal/ human level since he told me face to face he stopped picking my beats because I worked with Beyoncé,” he wrote. “this is after I produced niggas in paris , clique, and a myriad of other songs / projects for him and his label GOOD Music in the 2 years I was signed with them. This tweet is something I can agree with though.

Hit-Boy added he doesn’t care if he’s permanently blackballed for coming forward and reminded UMG he just produced the No. 1 album in the country — Big Sean’s Detroit 2.
“If they’re doing this to me with all I’ve accomplished through hard work I can only imagine the kids who don’t have big placements/ proper guidance,” he continued. “If I have to be the one to get blackballed for telling the truth and trying to set the next generation free then so be it.

Of course, Kanye didn’t let this one slide and promptly replied to Hit-Boy’s post. After re-tweeting his post, Ye clarified why he stopped working with him and claimed it had nothing to do with Beyoncé.
“HI GUYS … TRUST ME WE WILL NOT STOP … HITBOY FIRST TO STAND UP … I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIM PRODUCING FOR BEYONCÉ … I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT HE WAS SIGNED TO ME AND I DIDN’T KNOW BUT I KNEW JAY AND BEYONCÉ AND HIT-BOY … JUST FOR CLARITY.”
As Hit-Boy noted, he was signed to G.O.O.D. Music for roughly two years and produced the 2011 Watch The Throne song “N**as In Paris,” which won a Grammy Award in the Best Rap Song category.
here is how you prevent this from happening… DON’T SIGN THE DEAL! Artist want to cry about their contract after they blowup and the money comes in, but the truth is that contract is also the reason you got the opportunity to produce songs for those caliber artists.

Universal Music Publishing Group aka UPMG needs to get hit with a class-action suit by ALL the artists who they have been ripping OFF.
There needs to be severe consequences for getting artists and producers to accept contracts that essentially make them slaves to UMPG.
