HHDX News Bits (Chopper VS Diddy, T.I., Crime Mobb)

Chopper, of MTV’s Making the Band fame is back and he has words for his former boss.

The southern emcee, now signed with Cash Money Records says Diddy left him high and dry after Hurricane Katrina (no pun intended).

“When that happened, I didn’t get no phone call [from Diddy],” he told MTV. “He
didn’t call me and say, ‘Are you all right?’ He didn’t say, ‘I got
these Sean John clothes and can make sure your family at least has
clothes on its back.’ He didn’t do none of that. So at the end of the
day, I felt played. That’s why I wanted to disband myself from the Bad
    Boy situation.”

Diddy, pulled no punches in responding to the allegations.

“[He] is a former disgruntled artist of Bad Boy who obviously has an ax to grind. We wish him well in his future career,” he said in a statement to MTV.

Despite the recent signing with Cash Money, Chopper faces 90 years in prison over an armed robbery charge. His next court appearance is February 28.

2006’s only platinum Hip Hop artist, TI had a big night in Las Vegas at the Billboard Music Awards. The King picked up five awards, Rap Artist of the Year, Rap Album of the Year Rap Songs Artist of the Year, Rap Album Artist of the Year, and Videoclips Artist. The victory comes on the heels of Grand Hustle’s forthcoming release, Grand Hustle Presents: In the Streets Vol. 4. The disc hits store shelves December 19 and features appearances from TI, Young Jeezy and members of Tip’s P$C collective.

Killa C of Crime Mobb fame (Knuck if you Buck)
has been kicked out of the group after child molestation allegations
surfaced. The incident occurred in 2000 and involves the rapper’s
six-year-old brother. He was sentenced to five years probation but
failed to register as a sex offender. Killa is serving a two year sentence for the violation.
