Capone of CNN fame is preping to drop his own solo LP “Pain, Time and Glory.” Word is he has recorded over 40 tracks for possible employment, producers and callaboes include, Just Blaze, L.E.S., Clue, Noreage, Nas, Fat Joe and Kool GRap. Rumour is that it will be dropping early next year on Def Jam…Speaking of Fat Joe, the first single from “J.O.S.E” (due Dec. 4) has dropped and it features R.Kelly. After claiming to be the realest rapper out there in a recent issue of XXL he goes and releases this booty-ass track, you ain’t P. Diddy. Hopefully, the album will fair better with the likes of Alchemist, Buckwild, Psycho Les and Rockwilder behind the boards….Speaking of R.Kelly, he refers to himself as The “R” in that track with Fat Joe, shouldn’t that be considered blasphemy? There is only one “R” and Rakim be thy name….
Rumours of the distribution company of Xzibit’s DVD going bankrupt are false, the “Restless” DVD will still drop on December 11th….A lot of artists are looking to capitalize on the holiday season, here are some release dates, Dec. 4 sees Mobb Deep, Nas, Warren G, NateDogg, Noreaga, De La Soul, and Fat Joe all drop albums. Other notables in December are Royce the 5’9, Swollen Members and Erick Sermon (18th), ….Surgeon general Dr Dre has crafted a few beats for Pharoah Monch to use on his next LP, can’t wait fot that one….Lastly, Dilated Peoples’ new album “Expansion Team” has been leaked on the Internet for a couple weeks now and bootlegging is becoming quite rampant.
