Here Are The 2021 BET Hip Hop Award Winners

The 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards were filmed at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta on Friday (October 1), but those unable to attend in person were forced to wait until Tuesday (October 5) to see the big show. The time has finally arrived, and the award ceremony is currently underway on the BET Network.

Megan Thee Stallion leads the nominations with nine in categories such as Hip Hop Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Hip Hop Artist of the Year, while Tyler, The Creator is up for four.

He’s also the recipient of the Rock the Bells Cultural Influence Award presented by Rock The Bells founder LL COOL J.

Tyler, The Creator, who’s described as an “award-winning artist, producer, director, fashion designer, filmmaker and entrepreneur who co-founded the Hip Hop group and record label Odd Future in 2007,” is nominated in the Hip Hop Album of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Produce of the Year and Best Live Performer categories, as well.

Meanwhile, The I Am Hip Hop Award will go to Nelly, “a diamond-selling, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rap superstar, entrepreneur, philanthropist and actor.”

    1. The Winners ARE:……. No one…cuz Black Evil Television Network doesn’t do anything productive with the network besides reinforced negative rachet stereotypes and self destructive behavior by causing or instigating the conflict in order to trigger and cause a reaction that’ll help dumb down the masses and try to keep all of us willfully ignorant. Why you think Bob Johnson sold the company in the first place?

        1. Why do you J00w$ get on here and try to subvert the truth just cause you don’t want to be held financially responsible? Hmmm?

    2. Real talk I’m telling you right. Now I am so disgusted with the bet hip hop awards just got done watching that garbage bullshit why they took away dj premier from the cypher is head scratching they don’t have dope rap artists like they used to I miss the old bet hip hop awards when they had real talent that’s what it was about talent and the culture now it’s a popularity contest who’s the biggest gimmick and all the artists performs tonight all sounded the same you couldn’t tell who’s who that’s why I respect and love the real rappers of today like Griselda crimeapple flee lord meyhem Lauren action Bronson roc marciano rome streetz the god fahim Mach hommy they don’t dick ride or sell out they stick to the script and make real quality hip hop the way it’s supposed to sound like

    3. You know you old when the lyricist of the year and hip hop album of the year only matters. And being disappointed by both. C’mon, Nas game done came out of no where since lost tapes 2 and his feature on DMX’s Bath Salts? I think they wanted to appease the j Cole fandom because Nas should’ve had that lyricist of the year. J Cole is aiight but I have k dot over him. And wtf with Drake in that category? Why not throw Ye in there haters. Might as well. Just being real y’all, just being real…

    4. Somewhere DJ Khalid is crying over the Tyler win…. Nas should have been nominated and won that category though smh this has to be the worst award show in history of award shows

        1. Either Nas’ King’s Disease 2 album came out too late to qualify for the award or BET don’t want to nominate any positive music that my have an impact on society.

    5. Worst award show ever. First all I didn’t know 90% of the people that performed. It’s crazy, the best performance came from Nelly, but his performance was like a 6/10 at best cause he’s just standing around rapping.

It was a young generations show, so you can see that all the acts were garbage and 1 hit wonders.

The 3 host were ok but a little ratchet at times. Didn’t care for them.

JD – “Hip-Hop is the most influential thing in the universe” lmao I love hip hop but ni**a you crazy!!
