Even from behind bars, Gunna is still supplying his fans with his art. The Incarcerated YSL rhymer returned on Wednesday (June 15) to deliver a visual to DS4EVER deluxe edition track “Banking On Me.”
In the self-directed clip, Gunna shows off his life of luxury trading in different sports cars, bachelor pads and different women throughout the opulent video. One of the models seen getting cozy with Gunna is actually Rick Ross’ ex Lira Galore.
She’s been vocal in calling for Gunna and Thugger’s freedom on Twitter.
“Bankin on me video outttt I look fire , bye,” she wrote. “Free Gunna Duke Yak Slime.”
Gunna was denied bond in May and will remain in jail until his trial begins in January 2023. He penned a letter to his fans earlier this week reaffirming his innocence in the RICO case.
“For now, I don’t have my freedom. But I am innocent,” he wrote. “I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name! The picture being painted of me is ugly and untrue. My fans know I love to celebrate life, I love my family, I love travel, I love music, I love my fans. I have all faith that God will grant me justice for the purity in my heart and the innocence of my actions.”
Gunna is currently facing one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Prosecutors allege that the “Pushin P” rapper is a “documented gang member” and he and Young Thug were calling shots for YSL.
Gunna and Young Thug were arrested in May alongside 26 other YSL associates as part of an 88-page indictment. The 56-count indictment includes charges of violating the RICO Act, murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and more.
Banking On Being Stuck In Prison For A While Unless You Snitch Again.
He can bank on the booty bandits busting his cheeks once he gets out of PC. In hindsight, maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to wear such tight, fruity, colorful, flamboyant clothes and also make a song called “Pushing P” which is a derogatory homosexual/prison term for two guys pushing penises up each other’s butts. This kind of was a bad idea.
Considering the severity and details of the pending charges I have to ask why this or any site or blog would promote this artist.
For comedy relief of course
Label still gotta recoup I guess…
