This past Tuesday saw the re-release of 2001’s Gravediggaz album, “Nightmare In ‘A’ Minor.” A new label called Empire Musicwerks, back by BMG distribution, will release and promote the album. “This is an incredible effort from Gravediggaz that deserves to be in every true hip-hop lover’s collection,” says Paul Klein, President and CEO of Empire Musicwerks, “We are totally committed to promoting this superb album
to the masses.”
The original release of this album was surrounding by some unfortunate circumstances as Anthony Berkeley aka Poetic aka the Grym Reaper lost his battle with colon cancer and passed just after completing the album. Aside from that, the group was already a shell of it’s former self. The group was originally a “super-group” that featured two of hip hop’s most renowned producers in the RZA and Prince Paul. Neither of which were a part of the latest effort.
