Ah yeah, indy hero and savior Slug is dropping another gem in early June. Slug and his DJ/producer Ant are the collectively ‘Atmosphere’ and dropped an absolute classic album last year that was second only to CannOx. “God Loves Ugly” will be headed by the lead single “Modern Man’s Hustle.” Slug is also selling the third installment of his “Sad Clown Bad Dub” series at his shows…

Eminem has settled with John Guerra, the guy he pulled his pound on last year for kissing Kim. Guerra will receive a whole $100,000 (minus lawyer fees). Slim better sell a whole lot of units of “The Eminem Show” to make up for that dent. Speak of the devil, according to hiphopsite, Em has likened his new album to “The Trumen Show.” Hmmm…

A couple Living Legends, namely the Mystic Journeymen (Sunspot Jonz & PSC) are dropping a new album called “Magic.” Look for appearances by fellow Legends Grouch, Murs, Scarub and Bicasso. May 20th is the date for that one…

Proof recently said that there will be a new D-12 album in 2003 along with his solo LP “Searching For Gerry Garcia.” He also mentioned that the only appearances on Em’s new album are D-12, Obie Trice and Nate Dogg…

As many of you may know, Mobb Deep affiliates, Infamous Mob just released their debut album. While I have never liked Mobb Deep aside from their beats (I have all that ‘dun’ shit) and Infamous Mob are even more irritating on the mic, it is hard not to like their album. Somehow they have got Alchemist producing nearly half the album and he provides some vintage bangers. Is there a more versatile (or doper) producer?
