It’s been a big week for Hip Hop and autism. Yesterday, J. Cole apologized for lyrics that offended autism advocates on the “Jodeci Freestyle.” Hours later, Drake followed suit, reiterating Cole’s regret about the “offensive” line, “Go check the numbers dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you niggas is autistic, retarded.”
While Drizzy and Cole both stated their apologies, other members of the Hip Hop community have announced a show next month to raise money for Autism Speaks. Brand Nubian’s Grand Puba and Sadat X, along with Lost Boyz’ Mr. Cheeks will perform at New York City’s Stage 48 on August 17. Deejaying for the event are pioneering sound provides Brucie B & DJ Hollywood.
Tickets to the charity event may be purchased in advance.

Where’s Allah now niggas?
I’m 39 white, Eurohead and I love Brand Nubian just like all my friends 70’s babies playing Ultra and also the new shit Apopllo Brown-shit. Just like the cocky old whites over here are playing golf with dicks in mouth listening to Elvis and Beatles.
