Ghostface Killah Reveals Kanye West & Mike Dean Are Executive Producing ‘Supreme Clientele 2’

Ghostface Killah has been dangling a sequel to Supreme Clientele in front of his fans since at least last October — and now there’s an update.

On Sunday (September 25), the Wu-Tang Clan OG hopped on Reddit’s HipHopHeads forum and revealed when Supreme Clientele 2 will arrive and who’s executive producing it.

“SUPREME CLIENTELE 2 IS EXECUTIVE PRODUCED BY: KANYE WEST, MIKE DEAN & PRODUCERPLUGUNI.COM,” he wrote from his own account. “RELEASE DATE: FEB 2022.”

But he didn’t unveil any further details.

In an April interview with Vulture, Ghostface Killah talked about making the original Supreme Clientele and where his mind was 21 years ago.

“When I was rhyming on ‘Nutmeg’ and ‘One’ on Supreme Clientele, I made a style that I couldn’t even tell what it was,” he said. “I just wanted to use some words that sounded good with each other and everybody’s trying to decipher what I mean when, really, I don’t even know what it means because I had no beat.

“But something said, ‘Make a record. Write a verse real quick just putting words together, whether they mean something or not. Just put them together.’”

Wu-Tang Clan Legend Ghostface Killah Confirms ‘Supreme Clientele 2’ Album

Ghostface is getting ready to hit the road with GZA and Raekwon on Friday (October 1) as part of the 3 Chambers Tour in celebration of three classic albums — Ghostface Killah’s 1996 debut Ironman, GZA’s 1995 masterpiece Liquid Swords and The Chef’s inaugural 1995 effort Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

The tour kicks off in Minneapolis, Minnesota and ends on December 18 in Indianapolis, Indiana with stops in cities such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Boston, New York, Baltimore and Atlanta along the way.

      1. I’m holding out for Pusha – Dayton / Abstract Mindstate – Dreams Still Inspire type production.
Kanye won’t push Ghost around, Ghost knows his sound…Kanye will hopefully just make it snap.

    1. Man I love wu. And especially ghost and Rae. But with Kanye exec producing, I’m wondering what the overall sound will be like.

    2. Ghost has his taste for music – he won’t allow any Donda sounding bullshit to the sequel of his best album. And to be honest – RZA doesn’t make beats like he supposed to do anymore from many years. Ghost is one of the cohesive hip hop artist ever, and I’m giving faith to his choices

      1. Agreed 100%. Just by watching some Ghostface interviews one can tell that he cares about, and knows his music. He will tell you about samples used, he will even tell you what kind of color the album is. I trust this guy, he never did any wack shit, that is why he is in my goat conversation even though I do not do that kind of talk. Now bring it Ghostface

    3. It is inevitable it will be disappointing. To follow up that classic 20 plus years later is too late. He is my favorite rapper of all time but he’s lost it and become stale. I don’t know why anyone close to him can’t get in his ear snd tell him to give it up while still ahead.

    4. How do people have the energy for negative comments?!? Your life must be horrible. Just wait for it to come out first clowns

    5. Either bump the album or don’t. A lot of negative comments on something people haven’t heard yet.
