Gangsta Boo Discusses New Three 6 Mafia Album & “Witch” Project With La Chat

Gangsta Boo says that Three 6 Mafia’s next album is a work in progress.

“We’re also working on a Three 6 Mafia album while on the road,” the Memphis rapper says during an interview with Billboard for its “Ladies First” series on female rappers. “Everyone’s going to be involved. Juicy J is on tour now too, so we just got to [find time] to get in the studio.”

While on tour with Da Mafia 6ix for the  Triple 6ix Sinners Tour, Gangsta Boo is also crafting her Witch project with fellow female Memphis rapper La Chat.

“It started out as a mixtape, but it’ll now be on iTunes and in stores,” Gangsta Boo says of the project, which features production from DJ Paul, DJ Squeaky and Drumma Boy, and is slated for release this month. “Fans have always wanted something collaborative from us because everyone thought we were beefing. The official single is with Mia X, ‘Bitchy,’ produced by DJ Paul.

“‘Witch’ is dark and mystic,” she continues. “It’ll make people think its crazy. Everyone knows I’m a hardcore rapper and crazy. I do it as if I’m an actress in a scary movie. Some people like comedy or drama. I like horror. I portray that in my music.”

    1. I luv Boo. Shes fine as fuck as spits better than the rest of these hoes out here. Id punch la chats irritating ass out though

    2. I actually like La Chat. Honestly, I thought she was ahead of her time cuz she was the one woman that could spit like a dude.
I fucks with Boo, though. She is now one of the best lookin’ female rappers that came out then and still looks good now.
