Future has announced the return of “Mixtape Pluto” as fans continue to speculate on what his next move musically might be.

On Thursday (June 8), the Atlanta rapper took to Twitter to simply write “MIXTAPE PLUTO,” after attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Miami.

Fans tried to predict what Future could be hinting at with an array of decorated mixtape series at his disposal in his catalog.

“I’m going to guess… Metro collab Monster 2, Beast Mode 3, Project E.T 2? Another mixtape run from Future would be legendary,” one person wrote, while another replied on Twitter: “My hood needs more music drop asap!”

It comes after Hendrix previously teased Dirty Sprite 3 in a since-deleted tweet last month, which Freebandz artists Doe Boy and Young Scooter furthered amplified the hype around.

“#DIRTYSPRITE3,” Scooter wrote with a series of zipper mouth emojis on his IG Story earlier this year. However, Doe Beezy then calmed everyone down with a follow-up tweet explaining the project was arriving “no time soon.”

Zaytoven also teased the third installment of Beast Mode with a coinciding trailer back in May. “SOONER THAN YOU THINK,” the producer captioned the teaser.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited Metro Boomin and Future collab album is said to be arriving at some point on the 2023 calendar, according to the Spider-Verse soundtrack producer.

The Heroes & Villains super-producer initially teased the joint collab drop back in March, with a promise that it’d be dropping sometime in 2023.

“Definitely. I would bet on it,” he said of the chances of the joint LP making landfall in the calendar year. “I would definitely bet on it.”

Metro has since provided an update hinting that the collab effort was on the horizon. “So now that the soundtrack is out… when’s the album with Future,” a fan asked on Twitter last week, to which Metro replied: “Next up,” although he didn’t give a date.
