Funk Flex has steadily been losing weight over the past several months and after losing 40 pounds, he decided to take things to another level. On Monday (November 30), the Hot 97 radio host underwent a liposuction procedure — all on Instagram Live.
In the graphic video, a tube is inserted into his right side as yellow clumps of fat is pulled from his body and collected in a container next to him. Flex explained in the caption he was attempting to target his trouble areas he had difficulty trimming down with exercise and diet alone.
“For a while now @40dayreset has been amazing in helping me lose 40lbs! @drwerfel thank u so much!” he wrote. “Today I took a step I always wanted to try! @elitebodysculpture works on those hard areas… lower stomach, arm pit sides and back fat! No anesthesia, awake the entire time! I really enjoyed it!
