French Montana has cleared the air and offered up the true meaning behind his crew’s name, Coke Boyz Entertainment.

On a new episode of Fame & Flavor, the Moroccan-American MC linked up with Staten Island-based food influencer Cugine to whip up a plate of black truffle mac & cheese — a nod to the rapper’s forthcoming album Mac & Cheese 5.

The discussion began with a hilarious exchange where Cug broke down the meaning of “flour” aka “farina” in Italian — a key ingredient in the dish —  before insinuating the term may have a different meaning for French, as the “CEO of Coke Boyz Entertainment.”

“How’d you get the name Coke Boyz?” asked Cug.

“Coke Boyz stand for ‘Creation Of Kings Everywhere,'” responded French.

“You sure it’s not farina, farina?” joked Cug, while tapping the side of his nose, suggesting the use of cocaine.

The suggestion was quickly shut down by the “Unforgettable” rapper, who returned the inquiry with a laugh, replying “Nah, nah.”

“No one’s being indicted here,” the host continued, seemingly taking a jab at a recent ruling in which Young Thug’s lyrics can be conditionally used against him in his YSL RICO case.

Later in the interview, French revealed that the fifth installment of his mixtape series is full of features from some of the biggest names in Hip Hop, including Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Durk, and more.

Last week, the 39-year-old revealed the release date for Mac & Cheese 5 on social media. Scheduled for a January 5, 2024 drop, the project will build on a string of tapes that began with 2009’s Mac Wit Da Cheese.

French Montana hasn’t released a new project since Coke Boys 6 back in January, though he has been dropping hints about releasing new material for a while now.

Last month, the “Lockjaw” rapper took to Instagram to tease some new heat with Lil Baby and suggested that the pair were ready to drop a “monster” of a hit. As of now, it isn’t clear when the song will be out.
