After announcing his forthcoming album to HipHopDX last week [click to read], Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys musician Eric Bobo decided to premier a track from the album on the site, with exclusive free download.
The song features unsigned contest winner Minus P as the guest rapper.
Bobo told HipHopDX Wednesday morning, “Halfway through working on the album, I had just finished a fan contest
on my website for the opportunity to place two tracks on the album. The
deadline had been over for a week when I got the submission from Minus
P. When I first heard the track, I knew I wanted to have it as part of Meeting of the Minds. Minus P is from the east coast and he has mad
flow. The track was on fire from the jump-off but I just put my little
touch on it to finish it up.“
