Frank Ocean is getting fans hyped that he might be releasing his first album in almost a decade.

Ocean has not dropped a full-length project since 2016’s Blonde with single releases few and far between in the years since.

However, the elusive R&B singer appears to be up to something as fans found his alt Instagram account which features a picture of Michael Jordan holding up three fingers.

Fans believe the image signifies that Ocean’s third album is coming soon.

The account also follows Ocean’s official account and is itself followed by SZA and the singer’s producer and close collaborator Michael Uzowuru.

Rolling Stone also report that billboards have begun popping up in Coachella ahead of the start of the festival which say “KiKi Boy 2025”.

The name of the alternative Instagram is also @kikiboyyyyyy leading fans to speculate that the two are linked and point towards new music coming shortly.

The singer could also be making a surprise appearance at the festival after his disastrous headline set in 2023 that was greeted with a severely negative reaction by fans in attendance.

In a new vlog posted to YouTube, Talbott put together a montage of recent happenings soundtracked by a previously unheard Ocean track that is reminiscent of the sound of his last album, Blonde.

The lyrics are also quintessentially Frank as he wistfully sings over the stripped-down production: “I read your diary, every line / I wanna drink your words like wine.”

The elusive R&B star has not dropped an album since 2016’s Blonde while his last single arrived in 2020.

However, he has shared unreleased music via his Blonded Radio show on Apple Music since then and, in more recent times, indicated that he’s busy in the studio cooking up new material.

This was affirmed by longtime collaborator Pharrell, who told Zane Lowe last year: “You know he’s cooking. Frank stays in the kitchen. And it’s probably the reason why he doesn’t serve as much. He really enjoys the culinary process.”
