Footage Of Capital STEEZ’s Final Recorded Freestyle Released

Tragedy struck the Hip Hop community this past Christmas Eve when it was announced that Pro Era emcee Capital STEEZ died in an apparent suicide. Now, in a recent article from HipHopWired, footage of the Flatbush rapper’s final freestyle has been released.

In a newly released video, the AmeriKKKan Korruption: Reloaded rapper and associate of Joey Bada$$ participates in a cipher with fellow Brooklynites Wati Heru and Dirty Sanchez over Nas’ “NY State of Mind.” The video, which takes place in Ethik Clothing’s NYC shop, is reportedly Steez’s final recorded freestyle before his untimely passing.

Last week, it was reported that the 19-year-old member of Joey Bada$$’ Pro Era crew passed away on December 24 in what is believed to be a suicide. Joey Bada$$ confirmed his partner’s passing on Twitter the same night.

DX sends it condolences to Capital STEEZ and Pro Era’s friends and family.
