Fetty Wap Not Paid For Concert At UGA

The University of Georgia has chosen not to pay Fetty Wap, following his performance at the college.

New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap served as the latest Hip Hop artist to perform at the University Of Georgia, but according to Online Athens, as of today (May 4) the musician has not received compensation for his performance.

Fetty Wap was to be paid $100,000 for his performance at UGA, but after numerous complaints from students about the show, the rapper was over an hour late and performed for less than an hour, his payment has been withheld.

“We had concerns with the brevity,” UGA Director of Student Affairs Communications Stan Jackson said, according to Online Athens.

The school has contacted RGF Productions, the company that manages Fetty Wap, with the hopes that a resolution will be met.

Last month, Ludacris performed at UGA during a scrimmage game at Athens’ Sanford Stadium.

As of now, it is unclear what resolution UGA and Fetty Wap are hoping to reach.

    1. These idiots have it made…how hard is it to be on time and to perform a proper showing. Terrible artistry if this is true.

    2. Some cats get money they act a fool…flippin’ out on a chance to make 100k for one show..is u cray????

    3. i know fetty wap is popular now, but damn i didnt think he had the credentials yet to be getting paid 100k for a show..especially when all he says is “yeaaahhhh bbby” like fuck that i want a damn hiphop show

    4. uuuuhhhh, how did they expect him to perform for an hour?? He only has 2-3 hits that sound the same.

    5. Rule # 1- Be professional! Do what you say you are going to do and be where you said you were going to be. Dummy.

    6. Wow and to think i had to work 18 hours just to make $2600 which is a good living thats whats wrong with this world today theres no one keeping tabs on whos being paid what no one needs to be getting paid $100,000 for a 1 hour appearance GTFOH good ol trickle up economics running the world as usual people can earn $1,000,000 for a bowel movement as long as there a celebrity and then the price of food housing and everything else inflates with it only thing not inflating is the 95% of the population who are normal peoples pockets and not to mention being tardy and short setting them? The fucks this world coming to…

    7. I remember something Chuck D said at a a Public Enemy show some years ago: “Never pay for a show unless they give you at least 2 – 2.5 hours of entertainment!”

Of course, like somebody already said, Fetty Wop doesn’t have near enough music (that people would want to hear), to put on an hour show – let alone 2 or 2.5 hours.
