Fetty Wap says his chain has never been taken.
After a series of videos featuring a group of men allegedly in possession of Fetty Wap’s chain was published online, the New Jersey rapper has finally addressed the videos and alleged chain snatching.
According to Fetty, his chain has always been by his side, despite claims that it was taken. He also suggested that the self-proclaimed goons in the videos stop their “shenanigans.”

“I don’t really do the little rumor shit,” Fetty Wap said in a video published by DJ Akademiks. “I had to address some shit real quick. Niggas keep talking about they got Zoovie Zoo’s chain, man. You feel me? You got my chain? You tell me where you get my chain from. Show me where you got my shit from. Cause y’all mothafuckas is frauding. You fraud ass niggas, man. Where the fuck did you get Zoovie’s chain from? You do not have my fucking chain. Stop your shenanigans. Stop fucking lying.”
In one video, which features a masked man allegedly wearing Fetty’s chain, another man can be heard saying: “Ain’t my problem I know goons, man.”
DJ Akademiks also confirmed directly with Fetty Wap’s manager that rumors of a chain snatching are untrue.
