Fat Tony Details Asher Roth Relationship

Fat Tony has been making some noise recently and just released his “Sushi” single with Asher Roth.

Sitting down with HipHopDX Senior Features Writer Ural Garrett, the Houston native talked about his relationship with Asher and the new single.

“Me and Asher just kind of linked up last year and just became fast friends and made a bunch of songs and just want to drop them out there,” he said via a segment of today’s (August 25) DX Daily. “No album as of now. We’re just going to put out singles.”

Fat Tony also talked about his forthcoming album and everyone involved.

“I do have my album out there called MacGregor Park,” he said. “It’s got production from Tom Cruz, Blended Babies, who also did the ‘Sushi’ joint me and Asher just put out. Ill Fated is on it. I think it’s going to be a good time man. It tells a lot about where I’m from, the 3rd Ward in Houston on the Southside.”

    1. Real talk…this is no diss to Fat Tony, or maybe it is but this cat is not a good representative of Houston music OR Third Ward. In fact, he is the total opposite of what we as Houston hip hop artists are and strive to be. Ive heard he’s a nice guy and I’m sure he has a great personality or whatever but his music is AssCrackWack. Killa Kyleon, Rob Gullatte, MUG, ZRo, KRino, DoughBeezy, the list goes on of artists that are repping Houston the right way but yall seem to keep clowns like Fat Tony and Riff Raff on yall radar. Whoever your tastemaker for Houston is SUCKS. I am insulted. In fact, Fuck this story, whoever wrote it, and your supposed HIP HOP DX for oking this bologna. (Eats Bean Pie) Peace.

    2. While no one gives a shit about tony, drake is so popular that people in China and us fear that if drake does leave cash money, a recession will come hence the stock market crash.
