Evidence & Alchemist Announce Step Brothers’ Rhymesayers Album “Lord Steppington”

Anticipation for the Step Brothers project between Evidence and HipHopDX’s Producer of the Year, Alchemist, has been building since they announced the collaborative effort in 2009. With time passing, the two have been crafting their Step Brother album while balancing other projects separately. Today, the two took a moment to announce the latest news about their Step Brothers partnership, a deal with Rhymesayers Entertainment.

That wasn’t the only announcement made however. The two also announced their album title, Lord Steppington. Of course this isn’t the only time the two have collaborated, often working together on various projects. But this is the first album the two will craft together entirely, making their Step Brothers collaborative project come to fruition in 2013.

    1. Really stoked to hear this news, pretty sure this record’ll see the light of day and not languish in development hell like Swift & Changeable or the Godfathers.

    2. Evidence just doesn’t move me. He has so so lyrics, but it’s always soo sleepish…As a solo effort, I’ve never been impressed.

    3. evidence sounds the best when hes rhyming over alchemist beats, and seems to rhyme over the illest of alchemist beats too so cant wait
