Eminem Wants To Sell You A Brick

More details have emerged about Eminem’s cassette re-release of The Marshall Mathers LP. For $350, you get the cassette tape, a t-shirt, a dog tag chain, and one of 700 bricks recovered from the Detroit home where Eminem spent some of his formative years.

The home, pictured on the covers of both The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000 and its 2013 sequel, was demolished by the state in 2013 after a fire left it damaged.

Eminem posted an image to Instagram of the site, with a caption that said, “On November 20th, 2013 the State of Michigan ordered the demolition of the childhood home of Marshall B. Mathers due to structural safety issues. By reacting quickly, we were able to secure materials from the razed property… ”

The bricks come in their own plexiglass case and are signed by Eminem with a certificate authenticating them. The dog tags are also made from wood recovered from the house.

    1. Great idea Shady !!!! Can u please drop some new music even a freestyle to put these lame rappers to sleep !!

    2. Authentic and original, just like re-releasing MMLP on casette. Obviously, all items are overpriced but that’s nothing new under the sun.

    3. I’m confused..I thought Em had already sold me a brick the last time….that MMLP 2 album he dropped

      1. add recovery to that and shady xv (even tho better than both recovery and mmlp2) dudes been giving us nothing but bricks for 12.99 with his fast ass vocab and corny bars

    4. so he picked up the bricks from the demolished house and keep them all this time to try to sell them?, motherfucka you aint that important, fuck you

      1. Think about it, the people who buy those bricks are smart. They will be worth big money whenever Marshall dies. Its iconic, people buy limited em jordans that won’t gain much worth, these bricks will be worth thousands years from now. 50 years from now tens of thousands. Even if your not fan its smart investment, Im going to try to buy 1.

    5. Someone must’ve dropped one of the 700 bricks on his head if he thinks they’re really worth 350$?!?!?!?

    6. eminem fans would buy anything eminem branded. even a used condom of his i bet. yall an embarrassment
