Eminem has joined Spotify’s billionaire club once again as his 2004 song “Mockingbird” has now crossed the landmark streaming figure.
According to Chart Data, “Mockingbird” earned billionaire status on March 14, which is his seventh time entering the exclusive streaming club.
Other Eminem tracks to stream over a billion include “Godzilla” featuring Juice WRLD, “Without Me,” “The Real Slim Shady,” “Till I Collapse,” and the Rihanna-assisted “Love the Way You Lie.”

The emotional track arrived as the fifth single from Em’s 2004 Encore album and serves as a love letter to his daughters apologizing for his mistakes and the turmoil between him and his ex-wife Kim while much of the drama played out in front of the world to see.
Genius dubbed “Mockingbird” as possibly Eminem’s “least offensive song ever.” The somber single was co-produced by Slim Shady himself and Luis Resto. “Mockingbird” peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently 5x platinum.
The sobering anthem was nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards but ultimately lost out to Kanye West’s “Gold Digger.” Although, it took home a Teen Choice Award in 2005 and was included as part of Eminem’s greatest hits compilation Curtain Call: The Hits.
Over a decade later, a pair of prominent artists in Baby Keem (“Apologize”) and Lil Nas X (“Don’t Want It”) have sampled “Mockingbird” for their own discography.
Eminem also made history in 2011 when he became the first Hip Hop artist to cross one billion views on YouTube. More recently, 50 Cent hit a billion YouTube views with “In Da Club,” taken from his hugely celebrated 2003 debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.
The official “Mockingbird” video was added to YouTube five years after its initial release in 2009 and has compiled 750 million views in the years since.
Song sucks ass. Always has always has always will.
The best way to spot a sucky song is to see which are the most popular with the most views.
2 reasons. Most people are dumb and most views and streams are fake bots. Especially if its on a major label.

NGL, I never felt this. Even back when it came out, it felt very “been there done that” and formulaic at that point. It was definitely one of the better songs on a wack album though.
Em haters extra mad lately lol
King Tekashi already done it wit GOOBA. Track sound way better n got mo depth anyways.
