Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator linked up at a recent show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Earl’s debut album, Doris.
On Saturday (August 19), the former Odd Future group members reconnected on stage at the Novo in Los Angeles as Tyler joined Earl to perform their 2013 collaboration “Whoa,” causing the crowd to erupt in pure pandemonium.

Things hit fever pitch once Tyler, The Creator made the exuberant crowd recite, “G-O-L-F-dub-A-N-G.” Tyler and Earl then embraced for a hug on stage and posed for pictures while showing love to their former collective.
“Make some muthafuckin’ noise for Earl Sweatshirt!” the “EARFQUAKE” artist told the audience, while Earl said: “I ain’t gone lie, bro. On some shit, make some noise for Odd Future, bitch!”

It was an OFWGKTA family affair as several other members and affiliates were also in the house, including Vince Staples, Domo Genesis, Syd, Casey Veggies, Mike G, Left Brain, Taco and Jasper Dolphin.
Vince and Domo even hit the stage to assist Earl with “Hive” and “20 Wave Caps,” respectively.

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All was formed back in 2007 in Los Angeles. They released their debut mixtape, The Odd Future Tape in 2008 and began receiving widespread notoriety in 2010 with the release of their Radical mixtape, as well as solo projects by Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and Frank Ocean.
The rebellious collective disbanded just a few short years later. “That’s my n-gga. We just aren’t as close as we were,” Tyler said of Earl in a 2014 interview with The FADER. “It’s kind of weird, but I’m aware and smart enough to know, okay, shit changes.

“Shit changes, people get older, people’s goals change. As fucking outlandish and outspoken as I am, I don’t like confrontation. I’m not a piece of shit, man. I’m fair to everyone.”
A year later, in May 2015, the Grammy Award-winning lyricist all but confirmed the end of Odd Future while reminiscing on the group’s run.
“Damn going threw the old golf wang photos shit. i miss my friends a lot. 5 years later isnt that long but wow soooo much has happened,” he tweeted at the time.”
“Although its no more, those 7 letters are forever,” Tyler said in another tweet.

Earl caught wind of Tyler’s tweets and echoed his sentiment, writing: “No sympathy for male virgins who’re in their feelings about tyler pointing out and solidifying the obvious.”
Over the weekend Earl Sweatshirt pulled up at the GOLF store in Los Angeles and surprised waiting fans with a meet & greet and guest DJ set. Earl celebrated the 10 year anniversary of his debut album Doris with an exclusive merch drop in partnership with GOLF and WMX.
