In other news, Redman is already thinking about Blackout 3. Even though Blackout 2 [click to read] has only recently hit the streets, Redman told NYMag.com that he is excited about the third installment, saying it needs to be done.
“Shit, I’ma tell you — we need to just do it anyways. Because we need to get that bread. I need that bread. Plus we need to keep it going — these windows in rap are not as open as they were in the nineties. You gonna hear another Blackout! Who knows when, but it’s coming.” [click to read]
Another sequel they are sure about is How High. They are just sure that it won’t come out, even though it contradicts what they said in April.
“There’s not going to be a ‘How High 2.’ If we can’t improve on the original, there’s no reason to do a second one. But we are gonna do another movie together, we’re just not gonna call it ‘How High 2.’ It’s too early to talk about.”
Blackout 2 is in stores now.
