    Where My Dogs At?

    Last Friday (08.25) DMX’s Cave
    Creek, AZ house was raided by Maricopa County Police and removed 12 distressed pit
    bulls.

    DMX (real name
    Earl Simmons) was not present during the raid that later revealed three canine
    corpses (one of which looked to be burned), a large number of weapons, some
    drug paraphernalia and a lot of cars that don’t match the license plates” according
    to reports from the KSAZ-TV in Phoenix.

    “Earl has a caretaker,
    who obviously wasn’t taking care. Earl loves those dogs,”
    according to DMX’s attorney, Murray Richman. Murray
    continued to state that DMX isn’t in
    AZ and hasn’t been for several months as he is working on a new project.

    No arrests have been made as of yet.

    SV Donates to the
    Slums

    Detroit duo Slum Village teamed
    up with Remy Martin (the alcoholic
    beverage company) to donate $7,500 to AIDS Partnership Michigan.

    The donation was part of Remy Martin’s Black Music
    Month
    program that set off in June. The popular cognac maker selected 10 up
    and coming artists to perform in their hometowns. Each artist/group picked a
    charitable cause and the company made the donation on their behalf.

    “It’s a big epidemic
    going on in the city of Detroit; and in the black and Latino community
    especially,”
    said Slum Village’s
    T3.

    Enemies of 50 Cent

    In case you didn’t know, Ja Rule
    is dropping a new album on November 13 entitled The Mirror.

    In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Ja
    revealed that he will have (former adversary) The Game as a guest appearance on
    a track called Sunset.

    “I don’t think people were
    expecting that … but we got a hot record on the album,”
    Ja said.
