Druski Shoots His Shot At Ice Spice: ‘I’m The Prize’

Druski has made it clear that he has a thing for Ice Spice and wants her to know that he has his eye on her.

Speaking to Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, Druski explained how Ice Spice landed on a recent Coulda Been Records Instagram livestream. He said NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal was trying to make a move on GloRilla, who had also called in, but Ice Spice was getting all the comedian’s attention.

“Shaq tried to get with GloRilla, Ice Spice, I was trying to get with Ice Spice, that was me. I still ain’t got a chance,” Druski said. “You gotta let it ride man, you gotta let it come to you. So right now I’m in that process. Shorty, if you watching this, I’m looking.”

Sharpe was convinced that Druski had Ice Spice’s number, but he explained: “Nah, I don’t got her number. How I said it — you gotta let it come to you ’cause at the end of the day, I’m the prize!”

Sharpe said Spice is just as much of a prize as Druski is, so their union could only lead to good things. Druski played it cool and said: “Yeah, she’s somethin’. She got a little something on her.” The Coulda Been Records CEO then made it clear he’s seriously interested in the curly-haired rapper.

“I really would — I like shorty,” he said. “I ain’t — that’s why I told her, it ain’t even about the music and all that. To me, you gon’ get me. You know what I’m saying so I tried but she ain’t really … not yet, not yet.”

Ice Spice has been getting a lot of attention lately since blowing up on the scene with her hit single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” in Summer 2022. She recently found another buzzing single with her latest record, “In Ha Mood” which dropped on December 25 and has been growing on social media.

She recently filmed a music video for the single as a replacement for the visual she was supposed to do for her collaborative effort with Lil TJay. Unfortunately, TJay was arrested for gun possession while on his way to the shoot.

According to TMZ, Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio, claimed her client was merely a passenger in the car that was pulled over and it was parked legally on the street. Florio added that once police stopped the vehicle, they did not offer a credible reason as to why they carried out a search and the gun they discovered does not belong to her client.

She also believes the NYPD targeted the Bronx rapper after he and Ice Spice posted about the video shoot on social media.
