Drake’s Charity Studio Opens In Meek Mill’s Former High School

Last Summer, Drake donated $75,000 to Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia to build a studio for students, according to Billboard.

The newly opened  new studio, equipped with fresh keyboards, recording devices, acoustical accessories and other items, remained untouched for months.

In February, the high school found a part-time music teacher, Ben Diamond, to instruct courses for students.

Two years ago, an ABC segment highlighting the school’s new Principal, Linda Cliatt-Wayman, caught Drake‘s attention.

Drake reportedly was deeply affected by the news report, which shed light on the challenges faced by the Philadelphia students.
