Drake Proves Young Thug Support Isn’t Just For Show In Pouty New Post

Drake has insisted that his public support for Young Thug in his long-running RICO trial is not just for clout.

Posting a selfie on his Instagram Stories on Thursday (October 10) of himself wearing a hoodie and cap from Thugger’s Spider clothing brand, Drizzy wrote: “I ain’t talking to talk man I really put [bread emoji] on the [briefcase emoji] 3 Jeff.”

Drizzy’s comment suggests that he has been contributing money towards Young Thug’s legal defense, something he has done before with controversial Toronto rapper Top5.

The 6 God is also seen in the photo flashing one of his trademark pouts, which he has jokingly blamed on inspiration he took from Joe Budden.

Drake has been vocal in his support of Young Thug throughout his ongoing YSL RICO case.

Earlier this year, Drizzy called out the trial’s former judge Ural Glanville after footage of Thug in jail talking with his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist leaked online.

“This gotta be some form of jail misconduct,” he wrote in a comment on Akademiks‘ Instagram post about the incident. “You gonna drag this talented man then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain?

“Somebody benefitted from this video even existing and that’s shameful whole case is a wash just 3 the guy and let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta.”

The OVO Sound boss also posted a screenshot of his comment on his Instagram Stories and continued to blast the judge: “Shit is disgraceful… is this a criminal case or Atlanta social media promo Ural Glanville?”

Drake also called for Thug’s freedom on his 2022 song “Sticky” where he rapped: “Ayo Eric, bring them girls to the stage / ‘Cause somebody’s getting paid and / Free Big Slime out the cage.”

Thugger has been behind bars since May 2022 after being arrested as part of a 56-count RICO indictment against his YSL label, which prosecutors allege is a criminal street gang.

The rapper has been repeatedly denied bond and faces multiple charges related to racketeering, drugs and weapons.

His legal team has repeatedly called for a mistrial during the controversial proceedings, which has seen the judge replaced, the prosecution severely criticized in court and one of the state’s key witnesses confessing to lying and then firing his attorney while on the stand.

    1. “Bringing light to Atlanta”- a liar and clown

These eternal-containers are bringing only darkness and confusion. Silly witches. Astaghfirullah.

    2. Thug made you feel like you a slime in your head

If you really a decent person you ain’t putting money on someone’s case and looking for attention for it

    3. I have watched this trial from day one and it sickens me to my core. Jeffrey should have beeen released and yet they continue to think he’s this head of some bullshit. This is so sad that he’s being dragged thru this trial. The prosecution headed by Fani Willis will never prove a damn thing. I’m so glad he has the best defense and they will continue to fight until he’s free. Much love to Jeffrey and other defendants.
