Right before the Drake‘s All Star Weekend release of the black “OVO” Jordan 10 sneakers, the “Jumpman” artist talks about the first pair of Jordans he ever owned in the sneaker company’s “We Are Jordan” campaign posted on Twitter.
“The first pair of Jordans I ever owned was the Jordan 15s in the white and and the Carolina Blue,” Drizzy says referring to the UNC XVs. “I’ll never forget it because it was a gift from my father.”
The Views From the 6 artist also compares his performances akin to being Michael Jordan and his team going after the Championship trophy.
“Jordan promotes a winning mentality for anybody in any walk of life,” Drake says. “It’s an incredible feeling to put it on and just go do whatever you got to do whether its go to your job or go out there and do your job whatever it is.”
