Drake has unveiled some old class photos from his childhood and took a moment to share a FUBU-inspired drawing he did around the same time too.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (May 2) to share the pics, one was taken at Weston Memorial Jr. Public School in 1992, with a young Drizzy spotted on the far left in the top row sporting a striped sweater and clean button-up underneath.

The next photo, taken in 1995, shows Drizzy in the second row donning a cheek-t0-cheek smile, some thin-rimmed glasses, and a grey button-up. In another pic, where the 6 God appears to be the oldest, he can be seen wearing a clean, striped button-up, and smiling without glasses on.
Drake concluded his story by sharing a photo of a quick doodle he made back in the day of a cartoon chipmunk donning a FUBU cap and big chains. The chipmunk was fittingly named “Aubrey.”

The heartwarming trip down memory lane comes as Drake is currently embroiled in an AI-related scandal after numerous tracks curated from AI-Drizzy vocals began appearing online earlier this year. The latest track to emerge on Soundcloud is called “Not a Game,” which arrived after someone known as Lvcci posted another fake-Drake banger on the platform titled “Winter’s Cold.
However, it was the track “heart on my sleeve,” which also featured AI vocals from The Weeknd, that drew condemnation from Aubrey’s label Universal Music Group.

The label removed the track from streaming services after it reportedly racked up over 630,000 listens on Spotify, and issued a lengthy statement (via Music Week) commenting on the rise of “deep fakes” while asking which “side of history” its stakeholders want to be on.
“UMG’s success has been, in part, due to embracing new technology and putting it to work for our artists — as we have been doing with our own innovation around AI for some time already,” the statement began.
“With that said, however, the training of generative AI using our artists’ music (which represents both a breach of our agreements and a violation of copyright law) as well as the availability of infringing content created with generative AI on DSPs, begs the question as to which side of history all stakeholders in the music ecosystem want to be on: the side of artists, fans and human creative expression, or on the side of deep fakes, fraud and denying artists their due compensation.”
The last real Drake song to emerge was “Search & Rescue” in April, which he had previewed during an episode of Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio at the end of March. The preview made headlines after Kim and her mother Kris Jenner are heard talking on the song about Kim’s emotional state amid her divorce from Ye.
“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that,” Kim can be heard saying.
Although the sample had people accusing the “God’s Plan” rapper of taking shots at West, Drake’s father Dennis Graham insisted his son wasn’t “trolling.”

“Drake is not trolling anyone, it’s just a song,” the 68-year-old allegedly wrote in an Instagram comment at the time. “Why try and create a Kanye and Drake beef again??????????????? [palm face emojis].”
