Drake and Future are no longer feuding after privately burying the hatchet, according to Elliott Wilson.
In the latest twist in the Hip Hop civil war that erupted earlier this year, Wilson revealed on the latest episode of The Bigger Picture that the What a Time to Be Alive collaborators recently squashed their beef over the phone.

âI have it on good authority that Drake and Future have at least gotten on the phone and resolved their differences,â he said.
The veteran Hip Hop journalist suggested that the truce was helped by Young Thugâs recent social media post in which he urged Drake, Future and Metro Boomin to make amends.

â@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin,â Thugger wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in October, prior to his release from jail after agreeing a plea deal in his long-running YSL RICO case.
âI think that helped the energy when Future reposted it,â Wilson said.

Despite being mentioned in Thugâs tweet, Metro Boomin was not a part of the peace talks, according to Wilson.
âThereâs no trust there still with Metro,â he joked, âbut I do believe that Drake and Future are back on the same page.â

Wilson also noted that a Drake and Future reconciliation isnât all that surprising given the 6 God held off on dissing Pluto in the way that he did Kendrick Lamar and his other â20 vs. 1â opponents (âPluto shit make me sick to my stomach, we ainât never really been through it / Leland Wayne, he a fuckinâ lame, so I know he had to be an influence,â he rapped on âFamily Matters,â blaming Metro for the friction).
âObviously we know that Drake and Future have so much history. Drake was the one saying, âWe never really went through it.â [Future] got the lightest of all the taps in the one v. 20, so it makes sense in some capacity,â the former XXL editor-in-chief concluded.

Drake and Futureâs once-prolific partnership fractured in March following the release of the latterâs We Donât Trust You album with Metro Boomin, which was laced with shots aimed at Drizzy.
In addition to Kendrick Lamarâs blistering guest verse on the chart-topping âLike That,â Hendrix himself appeared to subliminally diss his frequent collaborator on the opening title track.

âYou a n-gga number one fan, dawg / Sneak dissinâ, I donât understand, dawg / Pillow talkinâ, actinâ like a fed, dawg / I donât need another fake friend, dawg / Canât be âbout a ho, âcause we sharinâ, dawg / In yo feelings, n-gga, why you playinâ, dawg?â he spit.
The lyrical jabs continued on Future and Metroâs follow-up album We Still Donât Trust You, which saw A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd step into the ring.
There even appeared to be simmering tension leading up to the two albums, with rumors that Future was âupsetâ at Drake for dropping a joint album with 21 Savage.
âI heard thereâs a big rumor that Future is not too happy with this Drake and 21 Savage album [Her Loss], and it makes Drake and Futureâs album not as important, I would say,â N.O.R.E. said while guest hosting The Breakfast Club in early 2023.

âThis is allegedly, this is all rumors, Iâve never heard it from Futureâs mouth, never heard it from Drake, never heard it from 21, but itâs an alleged big rumor thatâs going on right now.â
Now that Drake and Future are back on good terms, all eyes will be on a potential musical reunion between the dynamic duo â just donât expect Metro Boomin to be behind the boards.
