Drake Disses T-Pain Over Retirement Comments

Drake has hit out at T-Pain for saying that he needed to back away from the music industry.

Speaking on the Crash Dummies podcast, T-Pain said: “One thing I learned from Drake, but one thing he hasn’t followed his own words. Drake said, ‘I wanna be one of them people that gracefully bow out and not get kicked out.'”

He continued: “I have ever since said, ‘Thank y’all, I appreciate y’all. I’ll see y’all when I drop — don’t worry about it, I’ll just drop something. Let me know if you heard it,’ Drake is like, ‘No, listen. OK, I got another one. Hold on, check this out. Y’all ain’t like that one? OK, real quick, just one more. Let me try one more.'”

The 6 God caught wind of the comments and had a few choice words for the “Buy U a Drank” rapper.

He commented on Instagram: “This guy always had resentment for me [laughing emoji]. You can hear it every time he speaks on my name.”

T-Pain previously opined that he believed that Drake and PartyNextDoor’s collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U was made up of songs that didn’t make other projects.

“So here’s my thing, I feel like [Drake] recorded a bunch of shit [and] in order to keep PARTY around, [he said], ‘You can take 10, 15 of these songs, put a verse on them and that’s our album,’” Pain said. “[He was probably like], ‘Bro, the songs are already recorded. These are all the songs that didn’t make my previous albums. Go for it, bro. Put verses on these songs.’

“Yeah, there’s five to seven solo Drake songs…that didn’t make other albums. I’m not saying that they’re bad. These are just songs that didn’t make albums. Or the other way around. [Maybe] PARTY came to him with an album and was like, ‘Drake, can you put verses on these particular songs?’”

T-Pain had previously refused to pick a side in the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, commenting: “Drake or Kendrick? I choose to mind my fucking business. It ain’t got nothing to do with me. It ain’t gonna hurt my pockets if I pick one or the other. Don’t give a fuck.”

    1. Drake has definitely overstayed his welcome. No one is asking for new music and its been forcefed to the audience from day 1.

    2. Shut up. I got a dildo in my freezer. Waiting for Iceman to drop before I freeze my tight poop chute.

    3. You’re a bitch dude take your 400M’s and please leave hip hop alone already, you became a pop star good job you’re not a hip hop artist

    4. Drake got buried by kdot now he wishes to try his hand at T-Pain does he not realize that pain can rap without auto tune go ask to your man’s lil Wayne about it.

    5. I think drake has options and his music will still sale. Look at (youtuber) jake paul, this guy is to creating content and jake paul
has gotten into boxing. So jake paul is successful in boxing! My point is don’t ever give up!

    6. If Drake farts it makes the news – he releases music and everyone talks about it. Just bc your favourite rapper hasn’t come out from under Drakes shadow a bunch of you are mad. The crown has to be earned it won’t get stolen by some stupid song about PDFiles. They really did the most for an entire year and it didn’t impact Drake at all. His shows still selling out he is still the most streamed rapper in history. Stop crying the hating is getting old and makes you look extremely lame
