Drake has been in the hot seat over the past few weeks as a number of his A-list peers have taken shots at him, and a response that many believe to be by him is now making the rounds online.
On Saturday (April 13), a bar-heavy joint hit the internet that addresses a number of Drizzy’s ongoing beefs. This includes attacks on Kendrick Lamar in particular, who kickstarted the drama with his verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Like That” last month.

While the voice on said track sounds like the Canadian superstar, it isn’t entirely clear if it is authentic or generated by artificial intelligence. The subject matter pertains directly to the many beefs the 37-year-old is currently negotiating.
“You better do that motherfuckin’ show inside the bitty/ Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty/ Then we need a verse for the Swifties,” the voice raps, referring to K.Dot’s previous crossovers into pop music.

About A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd recently joining the battle and throwing shade at Drake, the song continues with a reference to Kendrick comparing himself to Prince and his adversary as Michael Jackson: “What the fuck is this, a twenty-V-one, n-gga?/ What’s a prince to a king? He a son, n-gga.”
Additionally, the song also takes shots at J. Cole (who recently withdrew from the war of words) and Rick Ross while suggesting that SZA deserves a spot in the Big 3 more than Kendrick. HipHopDX has reached out to Drake’s team for comment, but has yet to hear back.
Fans are wondering whether the track is real, with listeners coming down on bothsides or even withholding judgment entirely until the facts are known.
Earlier this week, prior to the most recent shots fired at him, Joe Budden claimed that Drizzy and K.Dot are both in the process of preparing nuclear diss songs as part of their ongoing beef. On an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast published in early April, the media personality kicked things off by hyping the budding rivalry.
“Get out the way,” he said. “Whatever lil rappy shit you thought was going on, this not that. And something’s coming. I think that J. Cole knows that from either Kendrick or Drake or both. And it was time to bow out, because now we are no longer in the first round …
“Kendrick has earned himself a bye with Cole’s apology, but I think that the insiders know— actually I have it on good information that both sides went in the booth and came out.”

He continued: “What I’m hearing about both sides is it’s nuclear. It’s up up. I’m hearing this from people that can rap, so I wanna come in here and say that speculation time is over. Debate time is over.
“I’ve been saying for a few pods now that I’ve seen absolutely nothing from Drake to get me excited enough to think that he will be capable of doing what needs to be done against the likes of a Kendrick Lamar. I am here to say that there is no longer any need for me to instigate it.”
