Drake’s Dad Shades Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar Over ‘We Don’t Trust You’ Shots

Drake’s father Dennis Graham has hit out at Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar for taking shots at his son on We Don’t Trust You.

Kendrick was the main culprit as he delivered a scathing guest verse on the song “Like That,” aiming several lines at Drake as well as J. Cole.

It has also been speculated that Future himself took aim at the 6 God on the album’s title track as he rapped about a “fake friend” sneak dissing and pillow talking, leading many to believe the former collaborators have fallen out over a woman.

Eagle-eyed fans have also noticed that Rick Ross and NAV have both unfollowed Drake on Instagram since the release of We Don’t Trust You.

In response to the apparent attacks on his son, Graham not-so-subtly addressed Future, Metro and Kendrick in a sarcastic Instagram post on Monday (March 25).

“Yo I am about to drop some new music and I am not sure if it’s going to sell, but I am going to call some of my homies and get them to start a beef with Drake and get them to unfollow him and that’s going make my shit shoot up to number 1,” he wrote.

“I’m sure this is going to work so let me get some people on board for this and watch what kind of attention this gets!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE NUMBER ONE 1Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Despite his own recent issues with Drake, Metro Boomin has attempted to squash the rumor that Drizzy and Future fell out over a woman by telling fans to “stop making stuff up.”

Drake himself appeared to respond to the numerous shots taken at him on We Don’t Trust You during a concert appearance over the weekend.

He delivered a message of defiance to the audience in Florida, saying: “A lot of people ask me how I’m feeling… I’ma let you know I’m feeling. Listen, the same way I’m feeling is the same way I want you to walk out this building tonight.”

“I got my fucking head up high, my back straight, I’m 10 fucking toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go,” he added, his voice growing louder and more aggressive. “And I know that no matter what, there’s not a n-gga on this Earth that could ever fuck with me in my life!”

Meanwhile, Drake’s OVO Sound signee Baka Not Nice seemingly issued a menacing and thinly-veiled warning to Metro Boomin after the producer told people to “pick a side.”

In a series of Instagram Stories, the previously incarcerated rapper wrote: “You new [ninja emoji] kill me yall talk like bitches I’ll see any of you [ninja emoji] dolo no phones juss tump box & kick. Come to the back.

“Play if you want you know me I’ll clap it. Ain’t nothing bigger than the O Nothing #OVOSound. Pick a side? We don’t pick we slide unalive.”

    1. Drake always got one of his parents coming to his rescue. This is why no one takes this cornball seriously.

      1. One of his parents? It’s always his Pops, and if you’ve ever been to Memphis, it tracks. Scratch that. You brain dead kids grew up on Three-Six, so of course you know how Memphis people are through their music. No doubt his dad is no different from any other dude who is from that city, loud and proud. No matter who his mother or his Canadian side is, that’s the thing about Drake, his daddy is a big part of who he is too, which is why the credibility shit falls on deaf ears with me from people who make that and in the next breath listen to everything influenced by their sound. Three-Six Mafia is literally the most influential part of today’s hip hop for better or worse and he comes from that.

      2. Kendrick had J Cole come to his rescue against Diddy. Y’all dick riders still give him a pass for playing the tough guy role tho lol

    2. On the one hand everybody can’t be friends living in each other pockets. These dudes might think they are something special. Musicians think they all suck. No one rates any of them. As for Kendrick – he’s talking like a bitch. Needs to shut up or find something worthwhile to rap about other than trying to bully grown men. No one’s a kid anymore. You are responsible for your words and actions. “Rap” and so-called “competition” has nothing to do with it.

    3. If Kendrick isn’t ready to personally deal with whatever beef coming out of his mouth he needs to shut the fuck up. he’s a little midget dude with daddy issues who never had to really struggle a day in his life. he’s a contest winner acting like he’s monster cody – give us a break with the nonsense.

      1. your name really fitting. imagine writing paragraphs in 4 separate comments about someone not even mentioned in the article lmao. comment section bum please seek professional help

      2. Kendrick simply needs to make better music. That’s what he sucks at. Not faux deep music for white hipsters to say they’re experts on black people. That’s the annoying part of his career. The alien voices and all of that rambling on the mike ain’t it. At the top of his ability, this dude can really spit but rarely does and is horrible at making coherent songs. It’s a lot like Eminem.

    4. All Kendrick Lamar is doing is trying to get one of his security guards shot at and or killed for publicity. It’s that simple. He’s talking reckless and he can’t back it up claiming it’s “rap sport” – if I’m his security I quit today. Let him fight his own battles. I wouldn’t be dying over some rich idiot who needed more dumb attention. Keep folks name out your mouth period.

    5. Kendrick didn’t sound so tough on his tranny raps for that garbage album though. But now he wants to act like a tough guy. All I know is my security fee just went up 150% for Kendrick. Pay up or protect yourself. These guys reputations worth a lot of money – more than whatever bullets cost today.

    6. Is this what hiphop culture is now? Between the trash music, the trash news and the retarded demographic in the comment section, I’m starting to wonder wtf the agenda is. It can’t be to promote the culture. Fkn weirdos. We need less of Sam Moore.

    7. Hate or love Kendrick Lamar, he made a grown man pop defend him….
Drake is a disgrace to light skin niccas…
