Drake has indulged in celebration after the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
On Saturday (April 29), the Canadian hitmaker took to his Instagram stories to share a video of a sea of Toronto Maple Leafs fans losing their collective minds after watching John Tavares score an overtime point to seal the game 2-1. This is the first time the Toronto Maple Leafs have reached the second round of the NHL playoffs since 2004, according to ESPN.

Drake posted the fan-made video with a one-tear emoji and said, “The Leafs are through to the second round.”

In his post-game commentary, Boyle claimed that it was Drizzy’s fault that Diar DeRozan — the daughter of Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan — let out a shriek each time one of the Raptors players went to take a free throw.

“That’s on Drake, really,” he said. “If you don’t have Drake and if that doesn’t work the niceties of offering her things to make her stop shrieking, you get physical. You get her out.”
He then doubled down on his claim with another tweet tagging the “Laugh Now, Cry Later” rapper in the video. “Explain yourself @Drake why weren’t you there last night? The Raptors loss is on you for not incentivizing Diar DeRozan to be quiet during free throws,” he wrote.
