While most digital service providers will kick off their 4/20 celebration with the premiere of Dr. Dre’s landmark album The Chronic, TIDAL and its high-fidelity capabilities have gotten the jump on the competition; bringing classic tracks like “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Let Me Ride” to a completely new era.

TIDAL’s master quality audio version of the revered LP follows the March 2020 announcement of The Chronic being inducted into thee the Library of Congress’ National Recording Register, denoting it as “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.”
To accompany the release, several curated playlists have also been unveiled which include Dr. Dre Essentials, Death Row Records Classics Dr. Dre guest verses and the iconic producers’ sampling choices.
The JAY-Z streaming service is also offering new users custom $4 plans as the nationwide quarantine continues.
