    1. Who ever says this is trash is crazy this was another classic to my ears I’m still bumping it and it just gets better and better

    2. not better than chronic or 2001 but it was well produced and different. hopefully dre can give us a few tracks with his signature beat styles like that naked song

    3. The reason this shit just went gold is because nobody knows what the fuck it is. Movie soundtrack? Original album? Collaborative album? Dre album? Who knows, I ain’t even sure honestly. Dre was afraid of a flop so he didn’t even put his name on it and hid behind the movie.

    4. I think why a lot of people hating is because so far haven’t really hear no radio play plus no music video which his last albums had, all the artist was able to have these surprise albums and pass gold quick is because they haven’t been out of the game or behind the boards/scenes they been out there touring and in the spotlight. Compton is a solid album, it’s been a great year for Compton artists and the Game made a great finishing touch of the year of Compton albums I salute.

    5. This was Dr. Dre’s last album, but y’all gotta remember it’s a 50-YEAR-OLD Dr. Dre album, so anybody who expected The Chronic or 2001 doesn’t realize that you can’t rap about the same gangsta shit for 20 years. Ain’t nobody expecting their granddaddy to pull up in a ’64 breaking up some loud. Compton was a good finishing point, I think and that’s what we need to take away from it.

      1. Cosign! I thought “Compton” was dope. Not his best work and there were a handful of producers behind it but it’s still in heavy rotation. I was surprised by the “For the Love of Money” record bc at first I felt like that sample was untouchable after Bone murked it but they did it justice. No complaints here

    6. Honesty Compton Sndtrk was a very average album. He kinda failed with this one, no street buzz, no hits, but.if.you read the mainstream media you will fall for the hype. DX fell foe the hype hard!

    7. I love this website it reminds me of how many dumb ass people there are in the world. To all the people who left negative comments on here I would like to see you make an album at least half ass good as this. It will never happen cause your a fuckin hip hop website commenter and your not Dr. Dre lol

    8. damn… he flopped hard. considering the numbers the movie did and people knowing this is his last album and it just goes gold??? damn dre…

    9. Just like all you haters saying it took Drizzaveli six months to go plat. Now it took for this supposed “legend” two months to go gold for an album people have been waiting for for 15 years. 6 God wins. #DrakeIsLoveDrakeIsLife

    10. If it had a Unreleased Eazy-E Verse then it would’ve got some attention. Damn Dre. This is what you should’ve did. Featured Mc.Ren, Dj Yella, Lil Eazy-E, your own Son. Mc Ren son. Dogg Pound, Ez dick and the Jackoff hour. Lady of Rage. A unreleased Nate Dogg hook. Made it a Real Ending. I expected more. Sorry but i really did.
