Dr. Dre & Xzibit Reunite With Slim The Mobster

Dr. Dre is in the studio with former Aftermath artist Slim the Mobster.

“Feels good to be home #aftermath #DrDre back to balling like half times over…” Slim posted on Twitter today (June 17) with a picture of a studio.

Slim was signed to Dr. Dre’s roster but then went to jail in 2013.

He took to Twitter to announce his return to music and posted photos with Dr. Dre, Aftermath producer Focus… and Xzibit.

“Welcome home @slimthemobster_ now, time to go to work. #bang,” writes Xzibit on the social media website.

Slim helped Dr. Dre with the writing and production of his unreleased Detox album.

    1. I wouldn’t hold my breathe on a project coming out. Dre and Aftermath have shit on everybody on that roster for the most part.

    2. him and bishop lamont got screwed. didn’t this dude get into it with 50? guess now that 50 bounced the good doctor is hitting him up again.

    3. WOW they both married WHITE women. Disgrace to the black race. Stop taking pics like your from around the way cause your not REAL black men anymore. # truth

      1. I guess if you don’t know the difference between your and you’re then being a civilised person is way too much too expect. Stay in YOUR well, little toad.

      1. Dre must have had a dozen dedicated ghostwriter ever since the first Detox sessions, the biggest obstacle is Dre himself. For a long time I thought he’s delaying Detox just to be able to cash out if he ever finds himself in need, but since Apple money came in this is out of question. He probably still loves dope music, and being a household name himself he has access to all those dope ghostwriters and -producers, which means he can produce music till the day he die without anybody asking questions. He can afford to do this for his own entertainment, without financial and label pressure. That’s a big gift. I believe it’s only a matter of time until multiple episode of Detox will be released, if nothing else in a Death Row/WIDEawake type of way or through his kids / Aftermath after he pass away.

    4. never really got into dude. but no hate. on the side note i wished bishop lamont was still under that aftermath team (production wise) lamont is the truth. his new shit is dope.

    5. get eminem in the studio for one more album and make sure its a banger so he can retire from making albums on top.
