Dr. Dre’s estranged daughter, LaTanya Young, has been staying in the public spotlight in recent months thanks to her candid interviews about her famous father.
Young says the Beats By Dre mogul — who’s worth an estimated $800 million — cut her off financially in January and she’s been living out of her car and working for DoorDash, unable to reach Dre directly.
Now, the 38-year-old mother of four has decided to take matters into her own hands by launching a GoFundMe campaign to help get her back on her feet.
“I think GoFundMe campaigns are for people in desperate situations and I’m in a desperate situation,” she said to The Daily Mail. “I really don’t want to accept any handouts, but I appreciate anything that is offered.
“I have worked all my life and I know how to work for money but I’m in a difficult place right now. I believe in investing in your kids. That’s what I want to do for my kids so they are never in a position like I am right now.”

Young isn’t giving up hope she’ll one day reunite with Dr. Dre, adding, “I know my dad is a busy man, but I hope he will see it and reach back out to me on a father-daughter level.”
The Tarzana, California resident is the product of Dre’s previous relationship with 53-year-old Lisa Johnson, which also resulted in two other children, LaToya and Ashley. The couple reportedly split when Young was just 5 years old.
According to Ben Westhoff’s award-winning book, Original Gangstas: The Untold Story of Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Tupac Shakur and the Birth of West Coast Rap, Dr. Dre has six other children, including son Curtis who he didn’t acknowledge until decades after his birth.

So. Real talk. How come these kids aren’t being looked after? With 50 and his son, we know it’s beef with baby moms, 50 and all that. But there’s no info on why Dre’s relationships with his seeds are like this. It’s easy to pick sides but where’s the truth of the matter? Just looking for a friend.

The only reason her story is even supposed news is because there isn’t anything better for a story right now… and she the daughter of a Celebrity. All the other hard working people in the world in the same spot aren’t in the news… she doesn’t deserve Anything for that Go-Fund-Me.
I’m riding with Dre on this one. She 38 and she still ain’t got it together?! To top that off, she consciously made decisions to have them kids. Where her baby daddy’s at? Whatever people say, Dre was never in her and her sisters lives. He takes no responsibility for raising them. Many kids said they rather known their dad, instead of receiving money and never seeing him. He got another “grown” daughter who he raised thru marriage and going on million dollar trips. He mother gets a few hundred thousand a month. It’s doubtful the money came from her mom. Dre was trying to buy her love. He take a pic with his grown son with “DNA” tattooed on them both. He not lacking. But truth is Dre’s wife pushed them out of their lives. If they visited, Nichole said he sleep. But her kids running around the house. Maybe its a thing where Dre stopped liking the kids for whatever reason and the kids was caught up in that. Dre’s going through a divorce, this girl is 38. It’s weird he was out of her life when she was 5…Sad to say but 33 years later Dre moved on. By the time your 30 you really should have your life together. If not then you start to realize people are having kids and starting families

I believe this is past tacky. At 38 w/ four children there’s no reason your parents should still be handing you money. But your children’s father(s) should be supporting their kids… I do ask how is she paying for that SUV? Further, if she hasn’t been able to support herself since Dre stopped funding her, how long that 50k will go before the next GoFundMe pop’s up.
