Louisville rapper Donnie McFly died Tuesday (June 9), reports AllHipHop. The emcee, born Donald Mattingly, and fellow rapper Jassiem “Father Jah” Anderson were shot Monday morning after leaving a concert.
Father Jah, known as “The Godfather of Kentucky Hip Hop” is still hospitalized.
Mattingly was 36 years old and is survived by seven children.
Buffalo Stille, member of Kentucky’s Rap group Nappy Roots, commented on Donnie McFly and Father Jah’s impact on the music industry.
“These guys were the people making the Hip Hop cassette tapes here in Louisville,” he says. “They inspired artists like myself.”

R.I.P but I’ve never ever heard of this guy and I’ve been listening to hip hop my whole life and I’m 32, but anyway its alwasy said when someone loses their life or stupid shit.
