Doja Cat's Romance With 'Racist' Comedian Heats Up In PDA-Packed Baecation

Doja Cat’s rumored relationship with controversial comedian J. Cyrus has started to heat up, with the pair being spotted on a romantic vacation together.

Doja was photographed by TMZ smooching with Cyrus aboard a luxurious yacht in Cabo, where the pair were also seen tearing around on a jet ski and sipping some refreshing beverages off the Mexican coast.

Doja and J. Cyrus were first rumored to be romantically entangled earlier this year, with the latter being best known for having gone viral on Vine back in the mid-2010s.

However, he’s come under scrutiny numerous times throughout his career, with fans noting that Cyrus had previously apologized for alleged sexual manipulation he engaged in on Twitch, and had allegedly once shared a racist tweet.

“Just so we are clear, this is the same man,” wrote one fan who posted a screenshot of the aforementioned apology. “I don’t want any confusion here. This is a literal predator. Fuck J Cyrus and anyone who associates with him.”

Doja Cat has yet to comment on any of the online criticism, but she had previously riled up her fanbase last month by saying that her 2019 album Hot Pink and 2021 follow-up Planet Her were “cash grabs,” referring to them as “mediocre pop records.”

“Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it,” she tweeted. “now i can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop.”

Shortly after, she announced that her upcoming album is titled First of All and not Hellmouth, which many fans believed to be the name.

“Its not called hEllMoUth either its called First of All,” she added. “and yes I’m announcing the album title right now.”

Earlier this year, Doja also revealed that she was moving on from pop music to focus on rap.

“No more pop,” she tweeted at the time. “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.”

The claim came after she had expressed frustration with the music industry, and vowed to merely focus on her creativity.

“I’m doing all this shit that I don’t fucking wanna do,” she said in Instagram post. “I don’t wanna to take fucking pictures. Like, yes, planning a photoshoot is very fun. Capturing a concept, capturing a visual idea, like something like that, I love fashion. I really do. I love to dress up. I love all that shit.”
