Sadly, many rappers have had to spend time behind bars. One of the latest is DJ Quik who was sentenced to jail time after alledgedly pulling a gun out during an argument with his sister.
Things are apparently looking up for Quik. According to the rapper’s official MySpace page, there are only a couple months left in his sentencence.
The first week in [September] Quik will be back, assured the statement.
The statement, written by a Mad Science Recordings representative also adds that that a big show or party may be scheduled in order to welcome Quik home.
Currently, he has Greatest Hits: Live at the House of Blues in stores.
