“The Halftime Show” has become a mainstay in New York radio over the last 15 years. Airing on 89.1 FM every Wednesday Night at 10:30 PM, the show has become a platform for emerging artists. Rappers like 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Eminem, and Big L are all alumni of the show early in their careers.
The radio show first aired in spring of 1998 and will now be holding a special event to celebrate the milestone. Hosted by The Arsonists’ D-Stroy and Lord Sear, and featuring appearances from DJ Premier, DJ Eclipse, Stretch Armstrong, and DJ Riz, the show will be held at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City on August 29.
