DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Tribute Set To DJ AM Ended By Club Management In Las Vegas

Since winning the 1986 New Music Seminar DJ Battle, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s DJ Jazzy Jeff has been an iconic mixmaster. The deejay popularly known for his group DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince with Will Smith was paying tribute to the late DJ AM at a charity event this past Wednesday in Las Vegas.

According to Twitter, during Jeff’s set at the Surrender nightclub, said to be honor AM, management grew unhappy with the deejay’s selections, and abruptly ended his set. Last summer, a similar abrupt end to Jeff’s set occurred in Kansas City, with Jeff’s performing partner, Skillz.

Jeff would go on to Red Bull’s EmSee Challenge event in Detroit, joining Alchemist, Eminem and others.
